A consistent gold award winner at the Singapore Youth Festival Band Central Judging for the past six years, Nanyang Girls' High School Concert Band takes the stage at Esplanade Concert Hall for the first time to present an evening of works by some of the most renowned composers.

About the Band,
Established in 1969 as a brass band with only 30 members, the Nanyang Girls' High School Concert Band comprises over 90 members today.
Under the guidance of resident conductors, Samantha Chong, Lee Seck Chiang and tutors from the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, the band was awarded the 'Grooviest in the Gardens' in addition to a string of accolades in 2004. The band also has an annual public concert series entitled Appassionata and performs in many school functions and events.

I decided to post our activities in the upcoming week here because I am bored. :D
Firstly, CHECK YOUR EMAILS AND REPLY TABBY!
Secondly, change your MSN nicks to 'Hey folks (exsconnies) check your email for details on up and coming oh so excitiing and fabbityfab band outing!' and put your name behind.
Thirdly, change your MSN pm to 'we ♥ supersonic' no link but we do, don't we? :)
I shall like kinda post Tabby's email here hahaha.
Band outing will be on Thursday 19 June after band prac at Tabby's estate, Pandan Valley Condo. There will be games and a BBQ dinner.
A batch meeting will be held on Monday 16 June to recce the place. We'll meet at Tabby's hse's bus stop at 9am, and the thing will last till ard lunch because the resident of the estate is busy in the afternoon. Tabby will be at the bus stop waving like mad so you are able to get off at the right stop. She also plans to wear a bright coloured shirt like PINK.
Buses to her hse are 7, 156, 165, 92, 61 and 75
Nearest MRT station is Clementi, and you can take 7, 156 or 165 from the bus interchange near the MRT.
Everyone let's start thinking of games to play so discussion will be easier on Monday. Tianhui says the games shld be crafted to integrate the new scones into the band. Yup.
